Use this page only with the BERNINA 770 QE Tula Pink Special Edition guide and the buttonhole foot you actually have. Foot 3C is optional; accessory availability varies by delivery country. The guide lists which patterns work with each length system, so choose a supported pattern before programming. See the official BERNINA 770 QE Tula Pink Special Edition User Manual.
Foot 3A measures the button#
With sensor foot 3A, enter the button length plus 2 mm. The guide gives 4–31 mm depending on the selected pattern, not as a range that every pattern can use. Slide the foot flat to measure and follow the display. The supported-pattern list includes 51–54, 56–57, 64–65, and 69. Check the exact table in the manual before assuming another pattern can use 3A.
Foot 3C counts stitches#
The optional 3C system uses the stitch counter and a separate forward/reverse bead sequence. It repeats the programmed length until the machine is switched off. Follow that section’s steps and reset behavior from the manual; do not apply 3A’s sensor measurement or 2 mm allowance to 3C.
Test on a sample with the same fabric, stabilizer, pattern, and sewing direction as the project. Buttonhole size, density, and appearance depend on that setup. The guide does not establish every pattern’s length range or material capacity. Stop and verify the foot and pattern if the programmed sequence differs from the manual. Garment placement and buttonhole construction belong to task guidance; this page covers the two model control systems.
